ABOUT THIS POSITION
Location: This position is based in Arlington, VA. Hybrid (2-3 days per week in office) in Arlington, VA.
The Program Manager will lead global efforts to develop and deploy new commercial products and commercial structures to advance Fluence’s business objectives and delight our customers. They will engage with Fluence customer facing teams to understand product market gaps and kickoff, manage, and bring to completion the development of commercial products to close those gaps.
The role will be responsible for working with Fluence deal teams and leadership to evaluate the commercial risks of all individual deals. This role will also manage analytical efforts to measure, analyze, report on, and mitigate corporate level risks to revenue and gross margin. The energy storage industry changes on a monthly basis – this role will be crucial to meeting our commercial objectives.
This role will:· Be responsible for organizing team priorities and keeping deliverables on track.· Manage improvements to key aspects of Fluence’s commercial offerings, including performance guarantees and warranties. · Lead interdisciplinary teams to evaluate and implement new commercial products for energy storage.· Define the business case and value of commercial products in order to prioritize a growing backlog. · Manage development of models to accurately display key analysis for Fluence strategic corporate risks.· Support deal teams to evaluate, quantify, and mitigate risks associated with individual hardware and software deals and communicate those risks to leadership.· Serve as the voice of the customer to cross-functional teams, understanding key value drivers for the sales team and working with those cross-functional teams to deliver key differentiators.
