In this role, you will utilize your technical expertise to collaborate with sales, marketing/consumer insights, and flavorists to provide taste/texture solutions aligned with global and regional segment strategy and client needs.  Shape the future of healthy hydration in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Your key responsibilities 

•    Lead and coordinate flavor applications and associated technical support of diverse project initiatives across the spectrum of applications within the beverage category
•    Develop beverage application bases and create new beverage concepts to proactively showcase dsm-firmenich flavors, ingredients, technologies, and innovations
•    Actively participate on the technical selling team to develop strategic relationships and customer intimacy 

•    Project management: Champion briefs and required actions to meet project objectives, participate in work sessions with clients and deliver presentations in a technical capacity to clients as needed
•    Leverage technical knowledge in terms of flavors, ingredients, formulations and processes relating to beverages, while establishing and maintaining a network of working relationships within the technical community
•    Maintain knowledge of beverage clients’ strategies, brands and products in order to generate new opportunities for growth

You bring
•    7 years’ experience with Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science/Science/Science Technology or equivalent 

•    5+ years’ with Master's Degree industry/flavor experience working in the beverage category; experience in alcoholic beverages a plus
•    Demonstrated technical track record in flavor applications, ingredient expertise and beverage product development
•    Ability to travel to customers in North America
