$29.00–$30.00/hour + $500 Monthly Auto Allowance

At Beach Front Property Management, we believe stable housing changes lives. As we continue to expand our Affordable Housing Division, we’re looking for an experienced Affordable Housing Compliance Specialist & Housing Navigator to join our growing team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work directly alongside our Affordable Housing leadership team, gaining hands-on experience with a diverse portfolio of affordable housing communities while supporting compliance operations across multiple affordable housing programs.
In this role, you’ll help individuals and families obtain and maintain quality affordable housing while ensuring our communities remain compliant with federal, state, and local housing regulations. What You’ll Do
As our Affordable Housing Compliance Specialist & Housing Navigator, you will:
Ensure compliance with HUD, LIHTC, PBV, PSH, HOME, and other affordable housing program requirements.
Complete annual and interim income certifications and recertifications accurately and on time.
Review resident files, identify compliance deficiencies, and coordinate corrective actions.
Process applicant files and prepare documentation for move-in approvals.
Manage Coordinated Entry System (CES) referrals and applicant matching.
Coordinate housing placements with Housing Authorities, Quadel, supportive service providers, and community partners.
Assist residents with program requirements and help them maintain eligibility.
Maintain organized electronic and physical compliance records.
Prepare reports and support internal and external compliance audits.
Travel to affordable housing communities as business needs require.
Collaborate with Regional Managers, Community Managers, Leasing Teams, and Affordable Housing leadership to achieve occupancy and compliance goals.
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
Minimum two years of affordable housing compliance or affordable property management experience.
Working knowledge of HUD, LIHTC, PBV, Project-Based Section 8, PSH, HOME, or similar affordable housing programs.
Experience completing income certifications and annual recertifications.
Strong understanding of affordable housing regulations and documentation requirements.
Experience using Yardi or similar property management software.
Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to affordable housing communities as business needs require.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Coordinated Entry System (CES).
Experience working with Housing Authorities, Quadel, or supportive housing programs.
Fair Housing Certification.
California Real Estate License.
HCCP, COS, TCS, or other affordable housing certifications are a plus.
