Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
   
• Provide psychiatric care in inpatient and/or outpatient settings
   
• Manage medication and treatment for patients, including those with substance use disorders
   
• Supervise and collaborate with mid-level providers
   
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation

Requirements

 

Qualifications

• Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Psychiatry (ABPN)  
• Active or eligible Alabama medical license  
• Interest or experience in both inpatient and outpatient care, including addiction treatment  
• Strong leadership and teaching abilities  
• Prior experience supervising mid-level providers is preferred
