Lead Barista

Location: North Richland Hills, TX (On site) | Type: Full Time | Hourly Range: $17.00/hour

Are you a coffee enthusiast with leadership skills and a passion for customer service? We’re looking for a Lead Barista to join our dealership bistro team and help create an exceptional experience for every guest. You will create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere while ensuring that every coffee, espresso, and beverage served meets the highest standards.

Bistro Hours: Monday through Friday 6:30am - 3:30pm; Saturdays 6:30am-5:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and manage the team effectively in the absence of the manager
• Be willing to cross-train and learn back-of-house operations
• Work independently and handle shifts alone when needed
• Lead and support the barista team to ensure smooth daily operations
• Prepare high-quality coffee and espresso drinks with consistency and care
• Provide outstanding customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the café
• Manage inventory, restocking, and ordering as needed
• Train and mentor new baristas
• Ensure all drinks and food items meet quality and safety standards

Qualifications: 

• Self-motivated and able to work efficiently without supervision
• Previous barista experience (leadership experience a plus)
• Strong work ethic and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Friendly, outgoing personality with great communication skills
• Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn
• Reliable and punctual with excellent time management
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs.
