Your mission
Pierre Fabre USA is excited to invite a passionate and driven leader to join our growing team as a Regional Sales Manager. In this pivotal role, you will guide and inspire a team of Dermatology Sales Representatives, serving as ambassadors for our skincare brand, Avène. Your team will work closely with healthcare professionals (HCPs) to highlight our innovative skincare solutions and promote the benefits of dermatological care. Essential Functions:
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales/medical detailing team focused on delivering HCP recommendations and exceeding business goals.
Conduct regular field rides with each representative to provide individualized coaching and real-time performance feedback.
Ensure consistent one-on-one development sessions and create a culture of teamwork, accountability, learning, and results.
Sales Performance & Execution
Monitor team KPIs, field activity, call coverage, and territory performance using tools such as VEEVA CRM, PowerBI, and AWR data.
Oversee compliant execution of Lunch & Learn programs, promotional messaging, and budget management across your region.
Strategic Collaboration & Communication
Serve as a strategic partner to the National Sales Director, contributing insights, regional data, and recommendations for national planning.
Cascade company objectives, strategy, and initiatives to your team while providing feedback to senior leadership from the field.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and effective execution across functions.
Support and engage with local Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to strengthen brand influence and medical credibility.
Talent Development & Training
Partner with the National Sales Director on recruiting, hiring, and onboarding top talent.
Identify skill gaps and contribute to the design and delivery of impactful sales training initiatives and national meetings.
Serve as a development resource, supporting each team member’s growth and alignment to performance expectations.
Compliance & Operational Excellence
Review and approve expense reports, ensuring compliance with company travel and reimbursement policies.
Ensure adherence to sample accountability procedures and regulatory guidelines.
Champion ethical selling practices and maintain a culture of transparency, professionalism, and trust.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, marketing or related field strongly preferred.
4+ years of pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer or dermatology sales experience in a detailing environment.
2+ years of experience managing a detailing team, including coaching and developing teams of 10+ members to a higher lev
