We are looking for a PRN Registered Nurse to work for up to 12 weeks starting in November 2024 and begin training in August/September working as needed after the initial 12-week period.

Requirements

Registered Nurse Requirements & Responsibilities:

• 1 year minimum of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute or critical care environment including but not limited to Med-Surg, ICU, or Surgery setting. 
• Associate degree in Nursing required
• Active, Unencumbered Alabama Registered Nurse license
• Excellent IV skills required
• Must be detail-oriented, punctual, and patient care focused
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures, and local and IV sedation, according to physician orders
• Evaluate the patient’s preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative status at intervals according to facility policies and procedures
• Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
• Additional duties as assigned
