We are looking for a PRN Registered Nurse to work for up to 12 weeks starting in November 2024 and begin training in August/September working as needed after the initial 12-week period.
Requirements
Registered Nurse Requirements & Responsibilities:
- 1 year minimum of experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute or critical care environment including but not limited to Med-Surg, ICU, or Surgery setting.
- Associate degree in Nursing required
- Active, Unencumbered Alabama Registered Nurse license
- Excellent IV skills required
- Must be detail-oriented, punctual, and patient care focused
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures, and local and IV sedation, according to physician orders
- Evaluate the patient’s preoperative, perioperative, and postoperative status at intervals according to facility policies and procedures
- Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential
- Additional duties as assigned
