Job Purpose
Providing legal advice and guidance to the executive team and other company departments. Supporting Global Legal Department.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and other legal documents.
- Handling employee relations and labor law issues.
- Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
- Managing:
- litigation and coordination
- mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions and coordinating external legal counsel as needed.
- Conducting legal research and staying updated on changes in laws that may affect the company.
- Design, build and improve legal department processes in consultation with Global Legal Department.
- Developing, maintaining and updating templates.
- Developing and implementing legal strategies to protect the company's interests in consultation with Global Legal Department

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- License to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Experience: 5-8 years of experience in a corporate legal department or law firm.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal role, preferably within a corporate setting.
- Experience in a specific industry relevant to the company’s operations.
- Strong background in corporate law, contract law, and compliance.
- Proficiency in managing complex legal projects and transactions.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent knowledge of corporate, contract, and regulatory law.
- Strong legal drafting and documentation skills.
- Effective communication and presentation abilities.
