Nursing Internship

Overview

This is a Summer 2025 internship. 

Responsibilities

• Assist divisional occupational health coordinator in daily duties including:
• Conduct site audits
• Follow up with management to complete deficiencies
• Participate in compliance requests and activities pertaining to the division
• Manage worker related injuries and worker's compensation claims
• Coordinate medical surveillance for all employees including but not limited to annual audiograms, spirometry, vision screening and lead testing
• Coordinate pre-employment drug and breath alcohol screens and physicals
• Other projects as assigned

Qualifications

• Candidate should be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Nursing
• Must have completed at least their freshman year of study
• Preferred GPA of at least 2.7
• Must be highly organized and have a strong ability to multitask
• Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written
• Strong analytical and issue identification, prioritization and resolution skills
• Ability to work successfully both independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to act objectively and within the strictest environment of confidentiality
