Provide technical and sustainment activities supporting a US ARMY Space customer, based out of Colorado Springs and various assets globally.
Job Summary
Under general supervision, coordinates and expedites the flow of material, parts, and assemblies. Establishes and communicates completion dates for deliverables. Verifies accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and rates. Maintains related records. Stamps identify information and shipping instructions on containers. Contacts vendors by mail, phone, or visit, to requisition materials and verify or ensure shipment of goods on promised dates. Arranges for distribution of materials upon arrival. Inspects products for quality and quantity to ensure adherence to specifications. Works to meet schedules and support requirements to meet customer satisfaction. Serves as a resource to others in the resolution of complex problems and issues. Resolves most questions and problems and refers more complex issues to higher level of support. May assist in orientating and training lower-level employees. May check the work of lower-level employees. May be designated as a “lead” worker. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Roles and Responsibilities
· Under minimal supervision, coordinates and expedites the flow of equipment to vendors. Establishes and communicates completion dates for deliverable.
· Physically receive equipment from vendors and coordinate with leads to process back into our system.
· Coordinates the interface between logistics functions such as transportation, maintenance and warehousing to ensure efficient, timely, and cost-effective support to the customer.
· Responsible for inventory, reporting and movement of Government and company equipment, including forklift operations and maintenance
· Coordinates with Environmental, Safety, and other Shared Services functional areas as appropriate in regard to logistical functions performed under contract.
· Coordinates and conducts pick-up and delivery of measuring equipment with customers, employees, and management.
· Follows established standard work instructions ensuring quality throughout the processes.
· Reviewing quality document prior to shipping, ensuring all required paperwork is attached appropriately and billing the appropriate accounts.
· Contacts vendors by email or phone to coordinate RMA/RFQ's, expected completion, tracking of shipments. Update system to reflect most current status.
· Support engineering review boards as the logistics representative, acting as functional lead for life cyle, sparing, reliability research, and reporting results for the recommend change.
· Processes incoming and outgoing material utilizing MRP system.
· Performs audits of inventory as required and at intervals set by organization
· Performs physical counts of inventory on hand
· Supports MRP utilization and contributes to continuous improvement of property control
· Maintains warehouse to corporate standards and actively participates in continuous improvement initiatives
· Supports both internal and external audits (AS9100, DCMA, etc)
· Performs all other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
· High School Diploma or equivalent AND four (4) years of directly related work experience. Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.
· Active Secret Security Clearance
· Must possess a valid U.S. driver’s license.
· Must be a U.S. Citizen
· Experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
· Customer Service with Internal/External suppliers.
Preferred Qualifications
· Working knowledge of EQUIP or other property management software with regard to shipping and receiving items
· Previous experience in logistics for a manufacturing environment.
· Costpoint experience a plus
· Familiar with Microsoft Teams
· Mid-level knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
· Forklift operator certification
Salary Range: $49,665 - $74,550
The salary range posted is for Colorado Springs, CO. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, contract affordability, and in consideration of internal parity.
