JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: Team Lead
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive daily continuous improvement and participate actively in APSYS workouts and events.
- Responsibility to drive Lean methodology across all functions including: EHS, Quality, Productivity,
- Drive to ensure OTD and Utilization objectives
- Create and drive Problem Solving / Issues and Opportunities for abnormalities
- Create, audit, modify and follow Standard Work for the area
- Interface with maintenance/staff to prioritize needs
- Perform cross training and Lean training
- Work with other leaders to assure your line is fully “staffed” every day
- Work as an effective team member focused on meeting / exceeding business goals and creating a safe working environment & culture
- Ability to lead team through example
- Ability to provide constructive feedback and direction to team members
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, both written and verbal
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficiency with computers and basic knowledge of SAP, Windows, Word, and Excel
- Well-respected by peers and leaders
- Demonstrated ability to drive change
- Flexible, embraces change
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks or situations at a time
- Willingness to work OT to support business needs
- Self-starter and able to execute at high energy level
