Overview
This Data Entry Clerk will support our Risk Management and Legal Departments. This is a wonderful opportunity to work for an established physician led company in a temporary capacity!
This is an on site role at Pediatrix Medical Group corporate office in Sunrise, FL
Responsibilities
- Review and entry of legal documents and communications into claims management system;
- Answer and direct Risk line for appropriate handling;
- Schedule calls/meetings as needed;
- Handle confidential/sensitive PHI information and privileged communications;
- Maintains strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and Company policy.
- These duties may be ongoing or ad-hoc in nature.
Qualifications
Education Level: High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree preferred.
Experience Years: 2-3 years legal experience.
Experience Industry: Healthcare
- Exceptional organizational skills, detail-oriented, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, have the ability to prioritize incoming/outgoing tasks, and work effectively independently and within a team;
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and excellent client service.
- Legal Assistant experience preferred
