Research Specialist BJob Description Summary
This position will assist with in-vivo characterization of RNA-based vaccines and therapeutic applications. The candidate will:-Maintain mouse colonies and implement models of pulmonary disease and delivery
-Immunize and assess treatments in mice, including performing injections, tissue harvesting, blood collection
-Perform histologic and microscopic analysis of tissues
-Perform immunologic analysis using methods such as flow cytometry, ELISAs, and other molecular biology techniques
-Analyze and interpret results, troubleshoot experiments
-Stay abreast of current literature in the field.

Job Description
Job Responsibilities
- Small animal work (immunizations, assistance with in-vivo experiments, colony maintenance)
- General molecular biology (gel electrophoresis, western blot, PCR, Elisa, mRNA production, formulation, histology etc.) and flow cytometry
- Data management and presentations
- General lab maintenance, shipping of samples.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science and 1 - 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
