Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Monitor incoming queue and process product requests from retail branches
  • Work closely with retail branches to provide general product information and direct farm shipment order processing
  • Check product availability, allocations, product codes, pricing, and shipping requirements
  • Maintain a Microsoft Access Database program for back-ordered products
  • Maintain vendor and branch location files
  • Assist other staff as needed in processing wholesale customer orders and accounts payable processing
  • Order office supplies and warehouse shipping supplies
  • Perform general office work, including filing
  • Answer incoming phone lines and greet and direct visitors
  • May assist in new employee orientation and paperwork
  • Will perform various other duties, as assigned

  • Other duties as required

 

Required Education and Experience:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant office or administrative experience

 

Preferred Education and Experience

 

  • Knowledge of fertlizer is a plus.
