Purpose

The Senior Software Developer/Analyst will play a key role in the development of multiple applications used in Petroleum Engineering modeling and simulation. The Software Developers' initial responsibility would be to develop and maintain current and new applications, participate in the testing and validation process, and assist with the overall annual releases to the commercial market.

Responsibilities

  • Designs and develops intuitive user interfaces for engineering software

  • Implements, tests, and integrates technical software, databases, software infrastructure, frameworks, and develops software solutions

  • Conducts and researches solutions to integrate application programming, user interfaces, web-based data servers, and SQL-based databases with pre-existing software

  • Develops an implementation methodology, project plan, and process to be used in the delivery of software solutions to the appropriate customers which includes preparation of software documentation, developing standards and educational materials for users, and providing technical and/or project management leadership on large projects

  • Creates and maintains websites incorporating software products and licensing of software

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Considerable experience in the following technologies: .NET framework 4.0/4.5 Wind
