As a Senior Specialist, Customer Solutions you’ll be responsible for providing proactive and customized support to meet complex customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of operations, be able to work independently to identify and implement solutions to customer problems and have a passion for customer service. Demonstrate effective communication strategies, the ability to influence, and a sense of urgency as necessary for success.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Take ownership of each potential failure and influence cross-functional teams to provide delivery on the expected schedule. Often asking for prioritization of a particular shipment or preparing another team to perform above standard services.
• Understand your customers’ requirements and commit yourself to the oversight necessary to ensure success.
• Responsible for the daily report and other customer communications.  Build trust with your customers by providing insights and value to the XPO shipping experience.
• Keep all systems up to date so accurate reporting is available.  Accurately identify any failures and record the root cause of the failure and the party responsible.
• Provide feedback and ideas for process improvements

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you’ll need:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

It’d be great if you also have:

• 2-4 years of logistics or transportation experience
