Job Purpose

Manage the Rough-Cut Capacity Plan (RCCP) process, managing planned production capability exceptions for production sites in the United States and Canada.  Will work closely with the Demand Manager, Integrated Supply Chain, and the manufacturing site, to understand changes in demand and align with its impact to current/future capacity.  

Job Responsibilities

 

As part of Integrated Business Planning for designated regional business unit:

 

  • Establish and maintain collaboration with demand management/planning teams, manufacturing and logistics.
  • Create an aggregated Demand, Supply, and Inventory (DSI) plan that is above the stock keeping unit.
  • Create regional business unit Rough-Cut Capacity Plan (RCCP) for assigned sites, providing input for business planning and the execution of sales and operation processes.  
  • Manage production capacity exceptions, building potential mitigation scenarios.
  • Review regional warehouse capacity plan, to include distribution centers, managing exceptions and providing support with reporting as needed.
  • Serve as the supply representative to drive Make-Supply and Deliver-Supply Gatekeeping meetings to align on plan deviations/risks.
  • Develop and implement, together with the Continuous Improvement team, detailed plans to improve performance on Production or Warehouse capacity.  Ensure capacity settings are maintained and updated in the system.
  • Prepare monthly reports as required.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management or related field.
  • 5 years' supply planning and/or integrated business planning experience in the paints and coatings industry, Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), or retail industries with focus on supply chain improvement or consulting.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage change with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Ability to monitor and track costs associated with slow-moving inventory (SLOB).
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.  Must be an effective listener.
  • Effective analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Total Compensation

The compensation package for this position will include a base salary, annual bonus, and employee benefits that are effective the first day of employment.
