Senior Manager - Shipping & Delivery Experience (f/m/x) - remote

We are looking for an experienced B2C e-commerce and platform logistics professional to lead and scale refurbed’s shipping and delivery experience across all markets we operate in. This role combines deep logistics expertise, strong Product & Tech understanding, and commercial acumen. The person will own the strategic development and hands-on execution of delivery propositions that enhance customer experience while enabling our sellers to operate efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complexity with clarity and structure are essential for success in this role.

They will be the business expert on all shipping and delivery topics at refurbed — deeply understanding how our sellers manage logistics, identifying scalable solutions that improve the customer journey, and defining the “what” and “why” for Product, Tech, and other teams — from ideal solutions to preferred partners and operating models. Given our lean setup, this is a highly hands-on role — you will drive initiatives from concept to execution, collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners to make things happen.

WHO YOU ARE:

• You bring multiple years of experience in e-commerce logistics, Product and Tech fluency, and commercial insight to deliver solutions that improve customer experience and seller performance.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce logistics and reverse logistics (including express, trade-in, and alternative delivery models).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset; highly structured thinker able to navigate complexity
• Proven ability to clearly define and size opportunity, articulate business needs, and define operational requirements
• Excellent commercial judgment, able to identify scalable opportunities and build solid business cases.
• Collaborative and influencing, comfortable driving initiatives across multiple teams and external partners.
• Entrepreneurial, pragmatic, and highly hands-on, thrives in a dynamic, execution-oriented environment
• AI- and tech-first mindset: able to leverage tools and data to improve decision-making and efficiency
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Define, drive, and execute refurbed’s shipping and delivery strategy: Identify and implement key opportunities to improve our delivery propositions (e.g. express shipping, reverse logistics, preferred carriers, alternative delivery options like lockers)
• Act as the business owner for logistics initiatives: Bring market, operational, and seller insights to shape and implement solutions in collaboration with Product & Tech, ensuring they are commercially sound, scalable, and seller-friendly.
• Develop and validate business cases for new shipping models or features, focusing on improving customer experience while supporting seller adoption.
• Lead and execute cross-functional implementation: coordinate with Product, Tech, Supply, and external carrier partners to assess the feasibility and impact of different solutions and bring initiatives to life.
• Serve as the internal logistics and delivery experience expert, advising on best partners, processes, and market setups.
• Establish, negotiate and grow strong relationships with external logistics and carrier partners, ensuring alignment and performance.
• Lead and Manage one Carrier and Operations Manager.
