What?
We’re looking for a Packaging Operator to join our Production team on 1st shift. In this role, you’ll be hands-on in preparing, packaging, and ensuring high-quality products that reach customers worldwide. Main aspects of the role include:
- Operate and monitor production equipment, and lead activities of others working on the line, ensure efficient and safe operation.
- Perform machine changeovers, adjustments, and minor troubleshooting as needed.
- Conduct basic maintenance and cleaning of machines according to SOPs.
- Maintain production flow and report equipment or process issues promptly.
- Accurately complete production records and quality checks in real-time.
- Ensure all documentation complies with company policies, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and regulatory standards.
- Enter production data into digital systems (e.g., MES, ERP, or spreadsheets) as required.
- Identify and correct documentation errors or escalate them to supervisors as needed.
- Report non-conformances or quality concerns immediately.
Hourly pay: $25.00
Schedule: Monday- Friday -1st shift 6:45am-3:15pm
Environment of this position:
- Frequent exposure to extreme temperatures
- Noise level in the work environment can be loud
- Exposure to various food allergens
- Regular requirement to stand, walk, climb, push, pull, reach, carry, and lift and twist
- Must be able to regularly lift 15 pounds and up to 50 pounds
You!
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college or technical training a plus
- 1–3 years of experience operating manufacturing equipment, preferably in a food or GMP environment
- Strong leadership experience, organizational, communication, and documentation skills with strong attention to detail
- Basic computer skills, including data entry, digital forms, and manufacturing systems
- Basic math and unit conversions
- Ability to read and follow SOPs, work instructions, and technical documents
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to lift up to 50
