RN-Clinical Care 12 Hr. *New Grads Welcome* Med/Surg (FT, Nights) Monterey Park Hospital

Overview

Monterey Park Hospital, a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg Unit. This is a full-time, 12-hour night shift position reporting to the Director of Med/Surg.

Responsibilities

The Med/Surg RN provides care, treatment, counseling and health education to the hospitalized patient. The RN is responsible for planning and coordination of care across the continuum. This planning and coordination includes meeting and exceeding compliance with core measures, contributes to reduction in LOS, active participation with all aspects of quality, safety and performance improvement activities, collaboration with all the members of the multidisciplinary team in providing outstanding customer service to patients, family members, physicians and the public. Meets and exceeds CDPH, The Joint Commission (TJC) and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Nursing program - BSN preferred.

One year of acute care experience is preferred.

Current CA RN license required.

Current BLS, ACLS & PALS (AHA) certification required.
