CACI is seeking a talented Database Engineer to join our elite team in Linthicum, Maryland. Be part of the cutting-edge NINJA HIGHWAY program, where you'll play a crucial role in fortifying U.S. intelligence and national security systems.
The Opportunity:
As a Database Engineer on the NINJA HIGHWAY program, you'll be at the forefront of developing and maintaining secure IT infrastructure for the Intelligence Community.
You'll contribute to:
- Designing and implementing state-of-the-art database solutions
- Enhancing information security through automated processes and continuous monitoring
- Collaborating on critical initiatives to streamline and secure data operations
- Advancing technological solutions vital to national security
Work Environment: Enjoy a flexible work (as mission requirement permits) arrangement with up to 2 days/week telework after an initial on-site period.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the shift from manual to automated system security processes
- Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated database structures
- Create efficient workflows and provide timely solutions for system updates
- Develop database parsers and loaders to optimize data management
- Build and test Python-based ReST endpoints and microservices using Django and Flask
- Work with various databases including MariaDB, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL
Qualifications:
Required:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field (or 5 years equivalent DBE experience)
- 5+ years of Database Engineering experience on similar projects
- Proficiency in Python, MongoDB/MariaDB, Django/Flask, and microservices
Desired:
- Experience with Swagger, AWS/C2S, Docker, and version control systems
- Familiarity with JSON/XML, Jira, Confluence, and Agile methodologies
