Job Description
This position is responsible for supporting the Trade Sales Team with the promotion and selling of Universal Studios Hollywood tickets. This position is responsible for implementation of the processes established by the Senior Manager, Sales and the Company management as the “standards” for the team.
Responsibilities
- Learn and become knowledgeable of the sales channels, the Universal Studios Hollywood brand, proprietary systems and sales priorities.
- Provide support of the client ticket fulfilment platforms including setting up new clients and ongoing management of existing clients.
- Facilitate day-to-day sales activities such as processing client ticket orders, tracking and mailing sales collateral and trouble-shooting with client and various internal departments
- Assist with routing of contracts and addendums, refund requests and invoices, purchase orders.
- Prepare for trade shows and events/FAMs including maintaining tradeshow documentation, ordering and shipping materials, client gifts
- Present recommendations for problem solving and continuous improvement.
- Build, maintain and encourage cooperative relationships with Team Members including those in Sales, Legal, Finance, Theme Park Operations, Guest Communications and all cross-functional teams.
- Ability to develop and present recommendations for problem solving and continuous improvement processes for business needs
- Compose and prepare confidential internal and external correspondence, reports and other documents.
- Maintain account records including ongoing updates to the client database and account management tools used by the team. Ex: Salesforce
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
Qualifications
- Strong reading, writing, computer and communication skills are a must
- Ability to develop and maintain strong team relationships, including external partners, while driving for positive results.
- Ability to analyze a situation and make problem solving recommendations or actions
- Must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, with changing priorities and significant time pressures
- Must be able to work with multiple business leaders and prioritize effectively
- Strong organizational skills, detail oriented
- Must positively contribute to team environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Valid driver’s license required
- The ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds safely
- Flexibility and willingness to adjust schedule accordingly to evenings & weekends based on business needs
Desired Characteristics
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university; major in Business Administration, Sales or Marketing is preferred
