Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Primary Care Physician - Primary Care Safety Net to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. Located just 15 minutes from NYC, Lincoln is an acute care teaching hospital academically affiliated with Weill Medical College of Cornell University.

Opportunity Details:
- Time will be split between Safety Net clinic and SHOW van which provides mobile medical services within the community.
- Safety net clinic operates within Lincoln Hospital providing comprehensive care with interdisciplinary team for individuals with complex medical and mental health needs experiencing homelessness.
- SHOW van is a mobile medical unit providing medical, mental health and concrete services within the community.
- Physicians will care for patients with substance use disorders through a harm reduction lens.
Qualifications
- Board Certified or Eligible in family medicine or internal medicine.
- Licensed to practice in NY.
- Able to work independently without in-person supervision.
- Prior experience caring for patients experiencing homelessness, chronic mental illness and substance use disorders strongly preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
- HIV/HCV experience preferred.
Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $224,000* (board eligible); $229,000* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $341,920** (board eligible) and $347,420** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401 (k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
- Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $55,520.
- Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
- Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
- Generous Annual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
