Security Administrative Officer – Full Time – Northlake, IL

Wage: $29.00/HR

Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The Administrative Officer (AO) serves as the principal assistant to the Security Team Manager (STM) in providing security services and related operations to the data center. Job functions may include client service and problem resolution, service enhancement, Security Operations Center (SOC) systems maintenance, audit compliance, scheduling, system monitoring, log maintenance, and training support.

What You Can Expect:

• Assist with training and certification as needed and maintain required training and security documentation.
• Ensure all security personnel adhere to policies and Standard Operations Procedures.
• Perform basic security officer duties as needed.
• Maintain and troubleshoot on-site security technology.
• Recommend corrective actions for security staff and assist with counseling and coaching sessions.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Assist with scheduling, site equipment inspections, and audit compliance.
• Conduct recurring audits and prepare and submit critical and confidential information directly to the client management team.
• Conduct patrols inside / outside the client’s premises, potentially in various weather conditions and in different types of terrain.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Provide detailed written reports. 
• Work in a team environment to ensure site / organizational goals are achieved daily.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older. 
• Must have reliable means of communication and transportation.
• High School Diploma, GED, OR ability to complete the GED program within 6 months.
• Associate degree and 4+ years of responsible experience in the security industry and/or business management, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job. 
• Previous supervisor experience preferred.
• Advanced computer / technology skills needed.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus!!
• Must be able to interact with a wide range of individuals in a calm and professional manner.
• Must have great attention to detail and the ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift. 
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
