Database Management Assistant

This is a remote position.

Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week) Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm

Job Description: You’ll be the backbone of a thriving industry contacts directory, ensuring data accuracy and discovering new business opportunities within the fashion and lifestyle sectors. This role requires strategic thinking and attention to detail as you manage a valuable database that industry professionals rely on daily. You’ll play a crucial part in maintaining the quality and comprehensiveness of industry connections that drive the business forward.

Responsibilities:

• Add and update contact information within the fashion, beauty, and lifestyle industry database
• Verify email addresses and contact details to maintain database accuracy and deliverability
• Track personnel movements between companies and update contact affiliations accordingly
• Research and find contact details for brands and key personnel at target companies
• Flag potential business opportunities and partnership prospects within the contact network
• Remove outdated contacts and maintain clean, current database records
• Analyze contact data patterns to identify industry trends and networking opportunities
• Collaborate with team on database optimization and expansion strategies

Requirements:

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail for complex data management tasks
• Excellent English communication skills for professional email correspondence
• Experience with database management and data entry processes
• Ability to balance professional and personable communication styles
• Research skills for finding and verifying contact information across various platforms
• Independent work style with strong organizational and time management abilities
