Heating & Air Conditioner Mechanic II
Candidate must pass the Service Personnel Competency Test for "Heating & Air Condition Mechanic" OR hold the following Licensures/Certificates:
- HVAC Excellence Certification (Master Level)
- NATE HVAC Certification
- West Virginia Division of Labor HVAC Certification licensed as a Commercial Technician
General Maintenance
Candidate must pass the Service Personnel Competency Test for "General Maintenance" OR hold the following Licensures/Certificates:
* Students must achieve the identified score and apply for a service personnel classification within five years of testing.
- Secondary CTE – Must score 70 or higher on the Building Trade Maintenance NOCTI technical assessment for AR1800 – Building Maintenance & Operations* and complete the performance section of the General Maintenance competency test.
- Secondary CTE – Must score 70 or higher on the Power, Structural, and Technical Systems NOCTI technical assessment for AG0110 – Power, Structural, and Technical Systems* and complete the performance section of the General Maintenance competency test
ADDITIONALLY
Candidate must provide evidence of a minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience
Candidate must be at the journeyman level
Salary based on experience and position per the attached salary schedule plus competitive benefits package equal to approximately 35% of direct compensation.
