Job Description:
The Community Development Banking Executive is accountable for leading the employees that are responsible for driving the client credit relationship including the end to end credit process. Leads some or all of the life cycle of a credit deal which may include: credit application, deal structuring, approval, pre-close due diligence, document preparation, closing and ongoing monitoring activities. Maintains responsibilities for interfacing with business partners to achieve objectives, including providing expertise and consultation necessary to execute the credit process. The Community Development Banking Executive will drive operational excellence via strict adherence to credit policies/procedures and regulatory requirements, ensuring the work has a high standard of quality, accurate data integrity and timeliness.

Responsibilities:

  • Underwrite, model, and structure LIHTC/subsidy loans

  • Covenant monitoring, annual reviews, risk triggering, problem loan management.

  • Policy compliance, audit readiness, CRA documentation

  • Team supervision, mentoring, cross-functional coordination

  • Produce executive risk reports, pipelines, portfolio analytics

  • Set lending policy, identify emerging risks, update credit framework

  • Negotiate terms, coordinate due diligence with clients, legal, and third parties.

Required Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of Commercial Real Estate and/or related Experience.
