  • Typical schedule for this position is Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. CT to 4:30 p.m. CT.
  • 1 to 2 weekends required per quarter.
  • This position needs to be able to come into the Oak Brook, IL office as needed.

HOW YOU WILL SOAR:
The Valuations team is responsible for updating valuations for alternative assets held in custody by Inspira. These updates, received from investment sponsors or other third parties, are processed both manually and through the use of an automated reconciliation system. The Valuations Specialist is responsible for facilitating alternative asset valuation updates through implementation and administration of the reconciliation system and manual processing. The incumbent will work closely with investment sponsors, clients, and various internal departments to resolve any issues that arise. The ideal candidate will be able to multitask while also being detail oriented, flexible and analytical.

  • Facilitate asset valuation updates through implementation and administration of the TRecs reconciliation system
  • Complete assigned TRecs implementation tasks in a timely manner to ensure that the project progresses, and follow-through with any ongoing responsibilities
  • Review and record alternative asset valuation updates, which includes analyzing sponsor statements and reconciling activity to the Trust Accounting System to identify and resolve differences
  • Research and resolve complex valuation issues
  • Monitor past due alternative asset valuations and assist with periodic and year-end valuation mailings to sponsors and clients
  • Ensure all processing consistently meets established service levels and is done with a high degree of accuracy
  • Create and maintain written operating procedures related to assigned functions
  • Actively share ideas to improve department processes and efficiencies
  • Other duties as assigned
