Safety Director-Construction

<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced and proactive Safety Director to lead and manage all aspects of our company’s Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) program. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, training programs, reporting procedures, and continuous improvement efforts across all operations.</p> <p>The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of driving a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with OSHA, FMCSA, DOT, and other applicable regulations.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>EHS &amp; Compliance Management</p> <ul> <li>Maintain full ownership and administration of the company EHS database.</li> <li>Manage all company certifications, including initial applications, renewals, and compliance tracking.</li> <li>Oversee OSHA and regulatory reporting procedures, including OSHA 300 Logs, case management, and documentation.</li> <li>Ensure compliance with FMCSA, Clearinghouse, DOT, and all applicable driver-related regulations and recordkeeping requirements.</li> <li>Review and evaluate company MOD/EMR performance and implement strategies to continuously reduce incident rates and improve safety performance.</li> </ul> <p>Safety Training &amp; Meetings</p> <ul> <li>Manage all employee safety training requirements during onboarding and throughout employment, including post-incident and recurring training.</li> <li>Develop, coordinate, and lead all company safety meetings, including: <ul> <li>Toolbox Talks</li> <li>Safety Stand Downs</li> <li>Superintendent Meetings</li> <li>Director Meetings</li> <li>Monthly Operations Meetings</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p>Incident Management</p> <ul> <li>Lead the full incident reporting and investigation process, including: <ul> <li>Initial incident documentation</li> <li>Immediate response and follow-up actions</li> <li>Drug/alcohol testing coordination</li> <li>Root cause analysis</li> <li>Documentation and record filing</li> <li>Return-to-work/light-duty verification</li> <li>Damage cost evaluations and tracking</li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p>Project &amp; Field Safety Oversight</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and manage all project-specific safety documentation, including: <ul> <li>Exposure Control Plans</li> <li>Activity Hazard Analyses (AHA)</li> <li>Job Hazard Analyses (JHA)</li> <li>Competent Person Letters</li> <li>Safety Checklists</li> <li>Project Safety Questionnaires</li> </ul> </li> &
