- Education: B.S; M.S. or Ph.D. preferred but not required

Job Highlights:
OMNI Technologies is seeking a cleared Software Developer to assist our team in defining improvements, enhancements, and new functionalities.
Required Skills:
- Background in scripting languages (Matlab, Python, R)
- Understanding of imaging systems and their processing chains (image processing, object detection, object classification, etc.)
- Understanding of state-of-the-art ML/AI for classification (one vs. all or multiclass) techniques and applications
- Understanding of large data sets and how to make the best data products for a given assignment based on data needs
- Ability to take abstract direction and produce desired data products in a timely manner
- Understanding of advanced image processing techniques
- Proficient in writing technical documentation in MS word and PowerPoint
- Ability to be onsite five days a week (Secret clearance required)
Optional Skills:
- Experience making code to handoff to production teams
- Strong Object-Oriented programming capability (C++ preferred)
- Strong computer graphics/scene rendering background
- Understanding of imaging systems and the physics of light emission, propagation, and detection
Key Job Functions:
- Use OEM/internally developed missile warning system models and be able to interface into every part of the processing chain and extract needed information
- Develop tools to analyze model outputs and understand model caveats
- Develop algorithms and analyze specifications of advanced sensors and be able to produce an estimate of performance improvement based on algorithmic techniques that could be employed (could be done as a parametric study of each of the sensor characteristics)
