Job Description

This leader is accountable for providing financial guidance on commercial strategy, pricing, contract negotiations, strategic deal structuring, collections, and working capital management. Acting as a trusted advisor to the Region President and commercial leadership team, the role helps prioritize investments, optimize resource allocation, and ensure strong financial discipline across all customer-facing activities.

In addition, the West Region and Care Alliance Finance Leader serves as the primary finance partner for the region's most strategic customer relationships, with a particular focus on supporting GE HealthCare's Top 200 accounts and Care Alliance partnerships. The role will work directly with commercial teams to develop financially sound growth strategies, evaluate long-term partnership opportunities, and drive value creation through strategic account planning, deal reviews, and contract governance.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary finance partner to the West Region President and commercial leadership team, influencing business strategy and driving financial performance.

  • Support achievement of regional orders, revenue, EBIT, margin, and cash objectives through disciplined commercial finance leadership.

  • Lead financial review and approval processes for pricing actions, strategic deals, and contractual commitments.

  • Partner with sales and service leaders to develop growth strategies, prioritize opportunities, and improve commercial execution.

  • Provide financial leadership and support for the region's Top 200 strategic accounts and Care Alliance partnerships, ensuring alignment with GE HealthCare's profitability, cash, and growth objectives.

  • Drive account-level financial analysis, business case development, contract evaluations, and long-term partnership planning for key customer relationships.

  • Partner with commercial teams to structure complex transactions that balance customer value creation with sustainable financial returns.

  • Drive operational rigor around collections, past-due resolution, invoice disputes, credit approvals, and working capital management.

  • Deliver actionable insights on financial performance, business trends, risks, and opportunities to support executive decision-making.

  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, controllership requirements, and commercial governance processes.

  • Identify and drive corrective actions to improve profitability, productivity, cash generation, and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field from an accredited university or college.

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, financial planning and analysis, commercial finance, accounting, forecasting, operations finance, or business leadership; OR graduate of GE HealthCare's Financial Management Program with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
