About The Opportunity
The maintenance personnel are responsible for maintaining and repairing all machinery and equipment within the facility to keep it in proper working order. As well as maintaining building equipment and facilities.2nd shift: 3:00pm-11:00pm
Pay range: $31.50-$38.00 per hour
Essential Functions
Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by: completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines and steam generators; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.
Work with production personnel to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
Work in conjunction with outside contractors and/or vendors as well as OEMs to troubleshoot and make repairs to plant equipment.
Locate sources of problems by: observing mechanical devices in operation; listen for problems; and use precision measuring and testing instruments to diagnose problems.
Perform electrical trouble shooting using the proper tools and PPE.
Control downtime by performing routine preventive maintenance techniques.
Fabricate repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.
Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Use computer system to document work and account for parts.
Communicate with the team using verbal, written or electronic communication including phone, email, radio, or other mode.
Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Required to participate on Emergency Response Team.
Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors.

Work Experience
Required
Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment. Experience and certifications will determine starting base hourly rate.
Desired
Corrugated manufacturing and converting experience

Safety sensitive position - ability to work in a constant state of alertness and a safe manner
Ability to work overtime and weekends as required based upon the needs of the business
Ability to work on a rotating shift as needed
Ability to effectively work in teams and teach new hires
Ability to work in a production-based environment with moving equipment and people
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of roles
Ability to read and understand machine part lists, preventative maintenance manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Proficient computer skills including the ability
