Job Description​

This position will provide direction over preferred pharmaceutical product selection, contract compliance, 340B drug pricing program, and drug shortage mitigation strategies.  In addition to procurement/sourcing responsibilities this position will be responsible for identifying and implementing standard inventory practices for Saint Luke's pharmacies. The scope of responsibility will include the inpatient, ambulatory, and infusion locations across the Saint Luke's acute HSOs.

• Oversees pharmacy procurement operations at acute care HSOs.

• Oversees inventory management operations at acute care HSOs.

• Directs pharmaceutical supply disruption response and mitigation strategy for Saint Luke's.

• Primary point of contact for BJC strategic sourcing, data analytics, utilization management, and supply disruption teams across BJC Supply Chain.

• Supports pharmacy revenue cycle functions.

• BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.

• Performs other responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements

Applicable Experience:

3-5 years

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Licensed Pharmacist (KS) - Kansas Board of Pharmacy, Licensed Pharmacist (MO) - Missouri Division of Professional Registration, Medication Therapy Services - Missouri Division of Professional Registration

Bachelor's Degree
