Job Description

  • What is the opportunity?

    To join the Global Private Capital Group as a Vice President.

    What will you do?

  • Private capital market transactions serve a variety of use cases, including but not limited to, growth capital raises, acquisition financing, recapitalizations, and PIPEs for private and public companies
  • Serve as the primary day to day contact on private capital market transactions and new business pitches across various industry sectors
  • Lead day to day execution of private capital mandates, including creation of financial models and other execution materials for private capital market deals
  • Create and refine new business marketing presentations for use in pitches and bake-offs
  • Be heavily involved with training / mentoring of the Group’s Associates and Analysts
  • Cultivate and develop relationships with private market investors across strategies and sectors
  • Partner with other Global Investment Banking groups to evaluate and originate new business ideas and opportunities
  • What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor’s degree and MBA, MA, or MS or equivalent emphasis in finance/accounting
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Investment Banking
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills; strong knowledge of capital markets, finance, and accounting
  • Maintain high standards of professional and ethical conduct, demonstrate ability to represent RBC in community and industry activities
  • FINRA Series 79 and Series 63 licenses

  • The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $275,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs.  This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
