Warehouse Associate - Seasonal

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring that our books and merchandise get to customers in a timely manner. In this role, you will carry out the daily shipping duties including stocking, packaging, and shipment and receipt of packages, while also assisting with facilities duties as needed. This role will last during the months of June through August.

The Warehouse Associate:

• Accurately packages, labels, and weighs items to be shipped, ensuring proper shipping method and charges.
• Loads and unloads freight shipments.
• Accurately triages incoming shipments, including shipments for warehouse, purchasing admin, and individual staff.
• Keeps the supply room stocked, notifying the manager if stock is running low, and maintains the orderliness of the warehouse and supply room.
• Assists with basic facilities tasks including moving furniture and mounting items to walls.
• Complies with safety standards set by Management.
• Coordinates with other administrative staff to confirm or investigate shipping inquiries.
• Completes other tasks and responsibilities, as assigned.

The ideal candidate has:

• Warehouse experience preferred
• Warehouse equipment certification preferred
