St. Mary's Medical Center in Blue Springs, MO is seeking an experienced  board-certified or board eleigible internal or family medicine physician to join the hospitalist team as a day-time hospitalist.

 

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working inpatient care and be comfortable working as supervising physicians for advanced practice providers on the team.

 

 

 

 

Responsibilities

The Hospitalist physician focuses on providing general care to patients of all ages, with utmost patience, care, compassion and understanding. Perform tasks within their scope of practice which may include conducting tests, recording medical histories, providing treatments, assisting physicians and enhancing public awareness on the importance of health, and prescribing medications.

 

• Qualified candidates must have minimum 2 years' experience working as Hospitalist
• Open ICU
• Days only
• 7am-7pm
• 12-hour shifts
• 7 on/7 off schedule
• Comfortable call to cover nocturnal NPs
• Supervise APPs
• Full-Time position
• Marketable salary

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. MD/DO  2. Current Kanasas state license and DEA
