Dematic has an immediate need for a Technical Training Specialist for internal and customer training within our Customer Service department at Dematic. This employee may be remote, but must be open to travel up to 70% within the United States. Familiarity with software and controls deployment in a manufacturing/warehouse environment is required.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $65,000 to $140,000 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.  

Tasks and Qualifications:

What You Will do in This Role:

• Develop and deliver quality operations, mechanical maintenance, controls maintenance, specific equipment, and customer solution training to internal and external customers 
• Development of student guides and training power points 
• Understand and communicate how Dematic’s custom solutions integrate into the operation of a material handling system.
• Adapt and adjust quickly to changing curriculum and equipment.

What We are Looking For:

• Experience designing and delivering maintenance training for customized products and systems
• 3 years experience in material handling industry
• Experience with PLCs and exposure to PLC programming and industrial controls
• Ability to read and interpret industrial mechanical and controls drawing sets and design requirements
• Exceptionally strong communication and training skills and strong process/detail orientation skill
• Familiarity with mechanical disciplines
• Experience with: Machine diagnostics and repair, and automation
• Strong Desire for helping others learn
• Experience and proven ability to design and develop technical training materials.
