Security Officer Patrol Support Specialist

As a Security Officer Patrol Support Specialist in Lithia Springs, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access awareness throughout the site. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouses, loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, gates, and visitor activity by verifying credentials, tracking arrivals and departures, and following site procedures for deliveries, pickups, and/or after-hours access.
• Support loss prevention and operational awareness by observing the movement of people, vehicles, and freight, and reporting policy violations, damaged property, and/or suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
