Duties: Responsible for providing support throughout the testing phase of the Software development life cycle; work on functional and system testing requirements and analysis; develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to build test case scenarios and test data; create test suites for various test case scenarios and integrate the test suites into Jenkins; work on functional, smoke, sanity and regression testing, as well as retesting using manual and automated processes, tools and technologies including Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Selenium Automation, Apache JMeter, Postman tool, Swagger, GIT, Maven Java, Selenium Automation testing, SOAP, REST API testing, and SOAP UI; log defects in bug tracking tools until successful resolution; support integration testing and end user acceptance testing; provide post-production support; document test results and share the results across various software development teams; and participate in daily standup meetings and retrospective meetings for sprint releases based on Scrum.
Location: Bloomfield Hills, Michigan and various other undetermined worksites throughout the U.S.
Salary: $117,200 per year.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors – Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Information Technology, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);
Training: None
Experience: Five (5) years in the position above, as a Senior Technical Lead, as a Lead Consultant, as a Senior Test Engineer, or in a related occupation;
Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years use of all the following: Postman tool, Swagger, GIT, Maven Java, Selenium Automation, SOAP, Microsoft Team Foundation Server, Apache JMeter and REST API testing.
