Description
This is an International Corporate Contractor Position - Candidates must be located outside the United States
Primary Goal: Responsible for administrative support for the People Operations Department. Carry out administrative support responsibilities as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional and reliable customer service to People Operations customer base: GLOBO management and employee base
- Exercise excellent communication skills in everyday interactions with GLOBO management, employee, and independent contractor groups to ensure transparency and clarity in all departmental responsibilities
- Provides day-to-day support to general People Operations staff, as well as GLOBO Management staff when requested, elevating questions and issues as needed
- Locates and gathers information from the appropriate source to resolve business issues. Pursues information that may not be readily available
- Completes resume reviews and initial screening conversations for open roles.
- Creates and maintains employee personnel, medical, Form I-9, and benefit files via Paylocity and Google Drive with accuracy in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Act as a main point of contact for the employee base, answering “frequently asked questions” from employees related to Company policies and procedures
- Process reports, uploads, and audits per the departmental schedule
- Assist the People Operations Manager in the facilitation and management of departmental functions, including but not limited to employee relations, company training initiatives, mergers & acquisitions, payroll, leave of absence functions, recruiting, HRIS management, company communications and messages, benefits, employee referral program, employee experience initiatives, performance management, employee recognition, compensation, and employee life-cycle management, including orientations, onboarding, workforce management, and offboarding
- Communicates all problems and issues through various communication means, including Slack, email, telephone, documentation, and open dialogue as required
- Complete special projects, other initiatives, and duties as assigned
Required Minimum Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. College-level coursework in business, administration, human resources, logistics, or related or equivalent experience with 1-3 years in administration is highly desirable.
- One to two years of Human Resource experience preferred
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint and superior knowledge of Excel
- Experience with Google Docs and Apple/Mac Operating System preferred
