The Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Network Client Engineer to advise customers in networking technology direction and collaborate with customers and internal teams to plan and execute changes to the network environment. The role will design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN); configure and install software, servers, routers and other network devices; monitor network performance and integrity; and resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure. The role will automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness; create, oversee, and test security measures (e.g. access authentication and disaster recovery); as well as mentor team members on technical issues. The engineer will communicate with users when needed, maintain complete technical documentation and suggest improvements to network performance, capacity and scalability.

Who You Are

• 5 plus years of experience in networking technology.

• Must be skilled on administering F5 Big-IP 7200 series firewalls PaloAlto P-5000 series firewalls Cisco 4000 series routers Cisco Nexus9000 switches.

• Industry-related experience as a Senior Network Engineer or Network Administrator Professional certification (e.g. CCNP, CCDP).

• Solid background in network administration and architecture.

• In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) and routing protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF).

• Familiarity with access control models and network security.

• Familiarity with scripting Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds network tools).

• Solid understanding of network operating systems (JUNOS, Cisco IOS, Palo Alto).

• Excellent troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to work independently.

• Organizational and mentoring skills are required as well.
