Job Description
Bosch Power Tools NA is seeking a HR Business Partner to become an integral part of our team in Mount Prospect IL.
In this role, you will partner with business leaders and the HR team to champion a positive culture, nurture talent, and seek opportunities to create a positive impact through the full business and the PTNA organization. This position is both operational and strategic in nature. Your role is to align HR practices with the business needs and work across HR disciplines in the areas of retention, employee relations, and employee development. You will work with business leaders to implement and execute HR strategies to enhance the Employee Experience by engaging with employees and manager at critical moments in the employment relationship such as Development, Engagement, and Performance Management. To succeed in this role, you need a flexible mindset, including the ability to think strategically, execute tactically, demonstrate strong analytical capability, and collaborate across many teams, levels, and situations.
In addition to the HR Business Partner role, you will be a key contributor within our US HRBP organization and participate within our function and cross functionally to build, grow, and continuously improve processes and programs within HR.
- Demonstrates advanced-level knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures in areas such as recruitment, employee relations, compensation, and benefits, and managing business partnerships with cross-functional groups.
- Demonstrates the ability to partner with groups to increase retention, build employee relations and drive employee engagement.
- Provides guidance and support of the business through the consistent application of HR policies, recruitment strategies, performance management, data analysis, and taking initiative on challenging projects to improve the business and associate experience.
- Manages a high-volume workload and effectively multitasks based on priorities.
- Interprets business goals and achieves alignment by recommending new approaches, policies, and procedures for continual improvement in objectives, productivity, and development.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations when necessary.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related is required
- Minimum 7+ years HR Business Partner experience, working within a large global organization is required.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) is preferred
- Strong understanding of Organization Structure and functions, including competency management and alignment to relevant programs.
- Demonstrated experience in coaching and advising leadership teams.
- Experience in report writing analytics, SAP preferred. Experience with HR systems.
- Strong employee relations skills experience.
