Eastman Chemical Company, a Fortune 500 company, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT BPC Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support and expertise in SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation), as well as the Profitability Analysis (PA) modules within SAP. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation and optimization of these systems, while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions.

 

How you'll help us innovate to build a better world

 

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SAP BPC and COPA modules, ensuring system availability and performance.
• Collaborate with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop, configure, and maintain applications within area of responsibility to meet business needs.
• Assist in system upgrades, enhancements, and implementations, ensuring minimal disruption to business processes.
• Perform data analysis and validation to ensure data integrity and accuracy within the SAP systems.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, process flows, and user guides.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate SAP systems with other applications and databases.
• Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge to effectively utilize the SAP systems.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and trends, proactively identifying opportunities for system improvements and optimization.

We would love to hear from people with

 

•    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
•    Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT analyst.
•    Proficiency in SQL and experience working with databases and stored procedures.
•    Strong knowledge of SAP BPC and PA modules, including configuration, customization, and integration in a plus.
•    Experience in modeling BW objects is a plus.
•    Solid understanding of business processes related to financial planning and budgeting.
•    Experience in implementing projects from conception to execution. Including: 
o    Requirements gathering, design, development, unit testing, integration testing, UAT, documentation, deployment, and end user training.
o    Experience with data modeling at a conceptual and physical level.
•    Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve system issues.
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
•    Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•    SAP certification in BPC or related modules is a plus.
