Terros Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for our Portable Clinical Care position in the Phoenix area.
Full-Time; Salaried
Salary Range: $70K-$84K, depending upon education level and years of experience
Additional Language Differential Pay Available: Spanish, Vietnamese, Korean, Arabic, Farsi, Swahili or ASL
$2/hour (Approximately $4,160 Annually)
Monday-Friday
Community Based Position
Experience in HIV, Homelessness, and MOUD is a PLUS
3-5 years of experience as an RN working in the hospital or acute care setting, behavioral health or psychiatric experience is preferred.
Clinical experience in street outreach and/or HIV prevention and treatment recommended.
The Portable Clinical Care RN position will be responsible for providing comprehensive health care for medically underserved people experiencing unsheltered homelessness through an innovative portable clinical care model. This model integrates street outreach, behavioral health, HIV treatment and prevention services.
Duties include:
- Performs nursing assessments, vital signs, phlebotomy, diagnostic procedures, assists with medication administration and monitoring, coordinates care with other providers and health care team members.
- Provides education to patients about preventative care, wellness activities and prescribed treatments (Medications for Opioid Use Disorder).
- Performs specialized duties as required by special clinical situations or treatment populations consistent with license and scope of practice, including providing patient engagement in treatment, treatment planning and patient education and support
- Establishes therapeutic relationships with a variety of patients for the purpose of establishing and reaching appropriate health and treatment goals
- Identifies potential barriers to quality care and opportunities for improvement and reports them
- Seeks appropriate Clinical sup
