Student Research Assistant Internship for Biomanufacturing

BlueHalo has internship opportunities available for Student Research Assistants to support biomanufacturing at the Air Force Research Laboratories (AFRL) in Dayton, Ohio. The successful candidate will use a variety of scientific and/or engineering techniques to address research questions related to multiple disciplines. The candidate should demonstrate a driven interest in the STEM fields, especially through previous and planned course work. The internship will be to run equipment such as 10 and 100L bioreactors, continuous centrifuge, industrial size cell homogenizers and FPLCs. Qualifications:

This position is working within a government facility and requires US citizenship

Must be working toward a bachelor’s degree preferably in their second or third year

Requires current enrollment in a STEM program focused in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, biology, chemistry, materials, or related field

Relevant course work, required

Required to be able to lift reasonable weights within OSHA limits and in an ergonomic manner.

Related lab experience, preferred
