Outpatient Mental Health Clinic Manager

Job Description

The Outpatient Mental Health Manager will be responsible for the daily operations of the clinic and all of its subspecialties including front office and clinical staff. They will work under the direction of the Clinic Director and will be responsible for the monitoring of workflows to ensure that work is being completed following appropriate policies and procedures of the organization and will work to ensure the clinic operates with an environment of care and concern for patients and staff members according to the organizations Standards of Performance.

Department: Outpatient Psychiatric Services

Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Required: LCSW, LCPC, and BS in Health Administration

Pay: Based on experience, starting at $63,564.80

Responsibilities

Acts as a liaison between the clinic and community based resources such as Hour House and Life Links., Auditing of clinic practices and workflows to ensure high quality care, Collaborate with providers and leadership to investigate and develop new service lines to patients, Coordinate with providers and organization leadership to identify and implement cost savings opportunities for both patients and the organization., Coordination of daily work assignments, Ensures dissemination of information to the clinic staff, providers and other divisional leaders on any updates and/or changes of clinics protocols., Handles and resolves patient complaints as per policies and procedures and collaborates with appropriate departments as needed., Hiring and training of new employees as well as conducting including annual appraisals, Oversight of provider schedules and maintenance of appropriate staffing., Perform as a liaison between providers and division leadership, Strives to create and maintain a positive work environment for providers and staff., Supervision of coordination of care of patients amongst the disciplines within Outpatient Mental Health as well as those areas the clinic supports, including patient and provider communication.
