Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with at least 8 years of accounting experience to join our finance team. You will be reporting directly to the Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing and reviewing accounting processes and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

• General accounting functions including journal entries for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliations.

• Experience in treasury operations, including payment processing, bank reconciliations, and cash flow.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Support the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and assist with tax filings and reporting.

• Develop and implement internal controls and financial policies to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

• Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations.

• Design, maintenance, and communication of the accounting policies to be adopted across the Group following IFRS

• Stay up to date with industry trends, changes in accounting standards, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification preferred).

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.

• Knowledge of ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.

• Advanced knowledge of International accounting practices.

• Fluent in Spanish and excellent command of English, both in writing and verbal is a must.

• European Union legal working status is required.

Nice to have:

• US, UK GAAP and knowledge of International accounting practices.

• Key user working knowledge of SAP desired.
