DESCRIPTION
Under the direction of the Executive Director, Building Maintenance and Facilities Operations, the Analyst II, Energy Management is responsible for the development, implementation, and monitoring of the utilities budget, comprehensive energy and water management program for the school system.
This role oversees utility consumption, budgeting, and procurement; optimizes building system performance; and leads sustainability and cost-reduction initiatives across all facilities. Participates with Baltimore Regional Cooperative Purchasing Committee (BRCPC) to purchase energy futures to reduce cost of energy.
The role supports system-wide operational efficiency and the Strategic Plan by reducing utility costs, improving building performance, advancing sustainability goals, and ensuring safe and comfortable learning environments for students and staff.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A combination of education and experience may be considered.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Experience:
Four years of experience with energy conservation programs, building automation systems, or utility data analysis

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, energy management, sustainability, environmental science, facilities management, or business administration.
Certification/Licensure:
Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
LEED Green Associate or LEED AP
Building Operator Certi
