As a Software Engineering Manager within PNC's Tempus Technologies organization, you will be based in Auburn, IN. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at the manager’s discretion. This could also be a remote position. Work may be performed from a quiet, confidential space in a home location, approved by PNC. This position may not be available in all geographic locations.

As a Software Engineering Manager, you will manage a team of about 10-15 software developers, developer leads and principals who are primarily responsible for client facing applications. In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

-Managing development projects, development teams and application support functions.
-Overseeing multiple application programming and analysis projects which include development, installation and maintenance of application programs.
-Monitoring and maintains adherence and compliance to quality standards on an ongoing basis.
-Maximizing staff contribution through professional growth and development, to increase teamwork and more effectively meet business needs.
-Analyzing applications to ensure that all systems that are developed, meet business needs and specifications.

Due to the nature of this position, we are seeking experienced leaders with exposure to software development. Candidates should have experience using both Jira as well as Git platforms. Ideal candidates will also have past engineering experience with the ability to code.
