Job Summary: The Corporate Vice President of Capital Engineering at IFF will lead the strategic direction and execution of capital engineering projects across the organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient and effective management of capital resources, driving innovation, and maintaining the highest standards of engineering excellence.Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the strategic vision for the Capital Engineering department, aligning with IFF's overall business objectives.
Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of capital engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Budget Management: Manage the capital engineering budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost-effective project delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, clients, and regulatory bodies, to ensure alignment and support for capital engineering initiatives.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with capital engineering projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Innovation and Improvement: Drive continuous improvement and innovation in engineering processes, technologies, and methodologies.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in capital engineering or a related field, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Skills: Strong leadership, project management, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage large-scale engineering projects and lead cross-functional teams.
Certifications: Professional Engineering (PE) license or equivalent certification preferred.

This role is crucial in driving our global capital execution strategy and ensuring we stay at the forefront of industry standards.
Job Summary: As the VP of Capital Engineering, you will be the cornerstone of our Capital Execution Processes, Practices, Enterprise Portfolio Governance, and Strategy. Your leadership will be instrumental in achieving our department’s objectives and propelling our organization to new heights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Enterprise Capital Portfolio: Lead the development and management of our integrated Enterprise Capital Portfolio, ensuring seamless monthly outlook processes, portfolio management of change, and comprehensive reporting.
- Set Strategic Direction: Align our Capital Execution Processes with industry best practices, ensuring they are maintained and optimized over time.
- Develop the Global Capital Engineering Team: Build and sustain global resource requirements, supporting Business Units and other functional areas in staffing their teams effectively.
- Champion Enterprise Capital Governance: Collaborate with Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) to oversee all aspects of Corporate Capital Governance, including annual budgeting, prioritization, and Report on Accomplishment (ROA) reviews.
- Lead the Global Capital Engineering Governance Team: Manage a direct line organization of 12-14 direct reports, fostering strong relationships with Business Unit and Functional Area Engineering Leaders.
Qualifications:
- Education: BS in Engineering or equivalent; an advanced degree in business/finance (MBA) is preferred.
- Experience: 20+ years of Project Management and Capital Engineering Leadership experience, with a strong background in Capital Portfolio Management.
- Skills: Exceptional leadership and managerial skills, outstanding communication abilities, and the capacity to collaborate with individuals at all organizational levels. In-depth knowledge of Capital Execution Processes and project management tools.
